Typha latifolia Great Reed Mace often called Bulrush

This is a rampant plant when planted directly into the soil. It is however very architectural and can, with care, be contained in a large pot.(check regularly for escaping roots).
Leaves are long and elegant the seedhead (see picture) are carried on tall strong stems and will stand all winter. If left it will spread indefinitely. Will take up to 3 ft. of water.
May need to be cut back for posting !
