The leaves are blue green, lance shaped and held erect. The flowers appear in mid summer and are distinctive, being erect white pokers with bright yellow tips.
It needs a lot of soil,so plant it in a large lily basket !
Spread 1 x 2 ft. or more,Planting depth 0 to 1 1/2 ft., if you want the leaves to lie on the water surface, plant it at between 15/18 inches deep.
Prefers full sun.
