Carex Acutiformis ( Lesser Pond Sedge )

As you can see from the picture, as it towers over my pup, this is a plant for the larger pond, although it can be contained in a pot, and it won't grow so tall.
I planted this specimen, 4/5 years ago, and it has spread to form a very dense clump, up to 4 feet tall. As you can see, the water level has dropped, thus it is quite happy in wet soil, or in up to 6 inches of water.
