Rheum Palmatum ( Ornamental Rhubarb )

A strikingly architectural plant which produces strong leaf stalks which carry deeply cut almost palmate leaves, up to 3 ft across which have a bronze underside. It produces a towering flower spike, dense with tiny cream or red flowers that can reach almost 6 ft in ideal conditions. Height -in ideal conditions it will reach 6 ft when mature, but will often only reach half this height. The clump when mature can also reach 6ft across.
